​Training was in a wooded area, featuring a large ravine. Minimal wind movement makes the scent trails harder to follow, especially for air scenting dogs, due to the scent being stagnant along the bottom of the ravine.

K9 Tonka worked on air scenting longer range searches, with the target being more hidden. This causes the scent trail to be less detectable.
​
K9 Zena worked on shorter distant searches, utilizing air scenting. She worked on a new skill today, searching off leash and practicing recall-refind.

We are CPR certified!
Members of our team were re-certified for CPR & AED via the American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) Program!
